XVideos is the largest porn tube site in the world in terms of visitors. According to one source it is the tenth most visited website of any kind in the world. Think about that for a second. Websites like Google, Facebook, Amazon would be in that top ten. And there with them is XVideos.
This is remarkable considering the financial muscle of the owner of its fiercest rival PornHub. That owner would be MindGeek who also own the YouPorn, RedTube, Thumbzilla and XPorn tube sites as well as the Reality Kings premium porn network and many others. But this is a battle between two titans, as the secretive owners of XVideos also own the XNXX porn tube (as revealed in papers in an obscure court case). The company is listed in the Czech Republic as WGCZ Holdings but the owners are French. They also own the Bang Bros network of premium porn sites - which is rather interesting considering that Bang Bros used to share an office with Reality Kings before they were bought out separately by these two gigantic porn empires.
The story goes that Mindgeek offered the owner of XVideos a reported $120 million to buy the site but the typically French retort was "I'm sorry I have to go and play Diablo II !"
So what does it have to offer that makes it so popular? Probably the over 8 million free videos for one thing. The plentiful variety of full length or at least reasonable length videos for another. An easy to use interface with tabs for any category that you fancy, clean video quality, all in all just a very easy to use site which is probably why surfers keep coming back for more over and over again. PornHub will have to work hard to beat it.
